Dr Mickelburgh is currently using fat for breast reconstruction, improving the contours after breast augmentation and for post-traumatic contour defects in the face and body. Fat grafting is performed under a general anaesthetic. Areas to be harvested are prepped and liposuction is performed. The fat is then processed and injected into the sites where it is required. It is typically performed as a day surgery.
